Very interesting personal 'zoom'. From Lakota friend learned that typical life-span used to be ~120...and before running water, before government food rations, etc.

yeah but it's far from a level playing field as, for example, average life expectancy at Pine Ridge reservation is (not sure what year stat from) about 48 years for men and 52 years for women. A lesson to all about colonialism.
