Beautiful introduction! Resonates with me on every level. While reading about your childhood, I recall my happy connection with nature during childhood. Lots of positive memories, and great sense of aliveness from that time.
I am wishing you all the best writing your future articles! Much love.
Very nicely said...seems like we have lots in common...as so many of us who are finding each other in these times seem to....enjoy your writing and look forward to reading more...the nature of us all..
As I’ve mentioned before, I was moved by your sharings on fb three years ago and still look forward to every post. I’m excited to see you here on Substack. Your views, your experiences with the natural world and your keen awareness of current happenings in the world really contribute to my life.
Thank you for reminding me of my happy childhood memories of traipsing through the woods as a young Brownie and then Girl Scout. I never felt more free than at those times, deeply held by Nature. So, so happy to see you here on Substack and to feel the comforting tenor of your voice through your words. I look forward to reading more!
Oh wow, now you have reminded me of Brownies, in which I had my first camping out experience. I feel that an early introduction to nature is a true advantage in life, feeling the greatness of the woods or the immensity of the ocean fosters wonder and desire to explore more.

Thank you Tanya, I am happy you were moved to recall your own adventure in nature, such a great foundation in life.
